As a classical pianist, my musical journey has been shaped by two key influences: the enchanting music of early 20th-century French composers like Debussy and Satie, and the hypnotic patterns of American minimalists like Philip Glass. These styles have inspired my new project, blending the finesse and melancholy of French melodies with the repetitive motifs of minimal music. My upcoming EP 'Encore' reimagines iconic French electronic tracks from its pioneers to contemporary artists like French79 as solo piano pieces. This EP spans nearly half a century of French electronic music, offering a personal journey through its evolution. Each track was chosen for its iconic melody, so you can imagine the EP as the little, charmingly counterpart to its bigger, rhythm-driven album sibling "Tranceformer."
